Hitchhikers.earth

Hitchhikers.earth is essentially two things. 1. First, it is a community-owned publisher of Guides. 1. Second, it is a pan-galactic community of human and non-human beings — human, natural, artificial and alien — engaged in the creation, sharing and publishing of these Guides.

The difficulty is that we come from the future.

No one yet fully understands what we are about to publish, because a Guide is a new kind of artefact. It is not simply a book, a website, a wiki, a chatbot, a course, a database, or a media property.

A Guide is AI Native living knowledge.

It is maintained by a community of beings. Some of those beings are human. Some are natural persons. Some are artificial beings. Some may not yet have arrived.

A Guide is therefore both an artefact and a relationship. It is a publication, but it is also a community of care around a living body of knowledge.

# Brand Problem The brand problem is not simply to explain Hitchhikers.earth as a publisher, a platform, a movement, or a commons.

The brand problem is to make a new category legible: > A community-owned publisher of living Guides, maintained by a pan-galactic community of human and non-human intelligence.
